I love when families choose a location with personal significance to them, such as this family did when they chose Boyce Gardens. They have brought their children to the gardens often, and even had a birthday celebration here. The children loved exploring the gardens, and looking for koalas and bugs, (there was even a runaway puppy joined us for a minute!) Unfortunately their little man fell over right at the start of the session (note to self: pack bandaids in camera bag!), but by the end we had cheeky smiles from him!
I photographed this family last year (you can see their session here), and due to the unseasonable heat this year on their session day, we chose somewhere a little cooler and shadier.
It was great to see just how much the children had grown in a year!
