That golden early spring light at the Davidson Arboretum was just magical the afternoon we took these photos! As always, the best photos are always at the end when the sun is low and shining through the leaves and making them glow. I think the arboretum at Highfields is often forgotten, but it has some beautiful little spots, and is quite varied for such a small park.
This young family certainly kept me on my toes, and I had to pull out every trick in the book! All the children had their own unique personalities. But we still got the shots they were after, and played lots of games to keep everyone (mostly) happy 😉
So if you’re looking for a family photo session in Highfields, don’t forget about the Davidson Arboretum, it’s a little gem! Here’s another session I did there.
