It’s nearly Father’s Day, and we’re all trying to figure out what to get our Dads. But what do Dads REALLY want for Father’s Day? I don’t think it’s socks, jocks, or another mug! Here’s some ideas to give your dad a really thoughtful Father’s Day present, (and they don’t have to be expensive!)

1.Dads love to eat
Your dad would love some food (that he doesn’t have to prepare). Maybe a casual BBQ at home, or going for a meal out. Dads usually aren’t too fancy and just appreciate the effort.

2.Dads love to play
Your dad would love to spend time with your playing his favourite sport. Maybe it’s a round of golf, kicking the footy in the backyard, or going fishing? Anything that’s fun, and means he gets to spend time with you.

3.Dads love a lazy day
Your dad might enjoy a day where he gets to sleep in, have breakfast cooked for him, watch a movie or play a video game. And especially have no chores to do inside or outside the house!

4. Dads love a home-made gift
Your dad will love anything you’ve made for him….a card with a thoughtful message, some home-made baking or some craft. Dads love to know that they’re being thought of!

5.Dads love photos of their children
Dads love to have a photo of their children in a frame where they can see it everyday. If you’re not organised enough to get a photo before Father’s Day, or want to include your dad in the photo, I have gift vouchers available so you can get some beautiful photos with your dad.

I hope that’s given you some ideas of what dads really want for Father’s Day. They want to spend time with you, and also know that they’re appreciated!
