You’re a busy mum of young children and you have a family photo session coming up soon. What do you wear? Where do you start?
Here’s the busy mums guide to what to wear for family photos….
1.Shop your wardrobe first!

You don’t have the time or the money to shop for a new outfit? Shop your wardrobe first! Find something you love to wear, and that makes you feel good. If you feel good, you will look good!
2.Pick your outfit first

Work out what your wearing first, then match everyone else’s outfits around it
3.Stick with 2-3 colours/ tones

Choose 2-3 colours for everyone’s outfits. If you choose, for example a blue, all the blues don’t have to match exactly. They can be tones of that colour.
4.Pick clothes that are comfortable and that you can move in

Make sure your clothes are comfortable. At your photo session you may need to move around, sit down, lift up your child, etc. We don’t need any wardrobe malfunctions!!!
If after all of this, you’re still not sure what to wear to your family photo session, let me know! I’m happy to give advice, so send me a photo of things you’re deciding between and I can let you know what will work best.
I’m a family photographer working in the Toowoomba region, and I’d love to photograph your family!
