You’ve had your session, you’ve chosen your favourite images, now they’ve delivered…..what next? How should you be taking care of your photos?
Digital Images
Make sure you back up your images to more than one location (preferably one away from your home (eg a friend’s house or online backup). Methods of digital storage change, so the best way to preserve them is to print them.
Prints and Albums
Please handle carefully along the borders only. Ensure you have clean, dry hands. They are printed on archival paper and should last a lifetime if printed with care.
Frames
Do not hang near direct heat or in the line of direct sunlight. Hang using the wire (do not rely on sticky hooks to hang your framed prints).
Canvas
Do not hang near direct heat or in the line of direct sunlight. Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid exposure to water.
