Often when a family books a photo session with me in Toowoomba, they haven’t yet thought about a location. There are so many beautiful options in Toowoomba. We really are spoilt for choice! Here’s my top 5 locations!
- Your Place!
There really is nothing like your own backyard! Your family feels very comfortable there, and it’s not too far to go if you need a change of clothes, etc.
2. Graffiti Walls
Thanks to the First Coat Festival, Toowoomba is now full of awesome graffiti walls. We can go on a walk and find the hidden secrets just around the corners of Toowoomba.
3. Spring Bluff Station
Just a short trip down the range there is this beautiful little station, and around Carnival of Flowers time the gardens are spectacular. If you have a train buff in the family, all the better, because often a freight train goes past!
4. Japanese Gardens
The Japanese Gardens in Toowoomba really are stunning. In the warmer months there is so much greenery, and in Autumn the trees become gold and red. You might even catch sight of some baby ducklings on the lake if you’re lucky!

5. Laurel Bank Park
The scented garden in Laurel Bank Park looks (and smells!) fabulous all year round. In Spring, there is also the beautiful wisteria walk, and if you have a Thomas the Tank Engine fan there is a Thomas hedge.
If you’re still stuck for a location for your photo session in Toowoomba, I have plenty of ideas! These are just a few of my favourites. Call me on 0438 876 359 and we can discuss what will suit you family.
